During the 12th century, Suryavarman II, the King of Cambodia, began the construction of a huge temple in honor of the Hindu deity Vishnu.

Thirty years later, Angkor Wat was erected.

At the end of the 14th century, Angkor Wat became a Buddhism temple. Today, it is still the largest religious complex in the world.

Its outstanding architecture, its wilderness and its delightful muses seduce millions of visitors every year.
